McKenzie Pass opens Saturday 8/16
All the snow is gone and the bridge construction is completed, it's time to ride McKenzie pass.
I may go on Friday 8/15 to get in a ride before the gates are open to cars on Saturday morning

That picture looks familiar. It would be fun to do again. I am doing the Mt Hood Hoo-Ha on the 16th. It is 75 miles with about 5500 ft of climbing so friday will be a rest day for me. If you will be going in the next couple of weeks, fri or sat, I would be interested in coming down.

Have fun on the Hoo-Ha, I wanted to do that one, but decided on the Newport ride instead.
I'm out of town the first week of Sept, but any Fridy in Sept other than that would be good. Let's keep in touch and get together on this.

Oh Man, I am so bummed I missed that this year. Family is back in town after a month away....
I have been looking to do it earlier, too bad.
So they only left one day open for bikes only?
Have fun Shifty and report back.
