Parts
I'm trying to build up my commuter bike... On a student's budget... I was wondering if anyone had any spare parts lying around that they could sell for really cheep, or just give away. I'm looking specifically for a rear wheel or rim. I have most of the other parts.
Let me know if you want to help out. Thanks!

I don't but you might want to check Recycled Cycles, they have tons of used parts and they are cheap

Yeah, I go over there periodically. I was there yesterday and didn't find anything... I guess persistence pays off right? I'll go back again this week.

Where are you located?
What kind of bike is it?
I have a bunch of spare parts, in particular I've got the wheels and most the component group off an '88 Trek 400 that I dumpstered a couple months ago. Plus a 44cm alu ergo-grip Nashbar handlebar.
I can't vouch for the condition of the wheels, so I'd have 'em looked over at a shop. I just stripped 'em off and replaced with others when I rebuilt... but they're still hanging in my garage.
