Wish I was - my son's basketball tourney got cancelled but I'm hoping for a longer ride in tomorrow.

Crud those times don't work for me this weekend. Hey Kpug if you go and see a nice touring frame in my size get the guys number so I can call him if it doesn't sell. You know about what I need with a short 29" inseam. Like the Volare only more relaxed geometry.

No can do for me either because of the times. Maybe if it were today (Saturday) I'd be able to.

EH: Ditto on the touring frame and fork as I told Kelly above. I think I want to build a nice tour/commuter bike ala the Surley Cross Check but I don't want to spend that kind of coinage and I'd rather have a vintage one anyway. So keep yer eyes peeled for something in my size, not any larger than 51cm - 52cm max. as I said I'm a 29" inseam. I don't care what color and if the guy will give you his number send it my way. Are you taking your camera? Dumb question I know. Don't go to any trouble but if you happen to think about it take a peek. Thanks a bunch

EH you're going? Sweet! Maybe we will see each other and say hi! I've got a short beard, am 5'6" and will be wearing a wool funky colored plaidish/houndstoothy cycling cap...

SB.....I've got a lugged Bianchi that might fit the bill...It's set up as a ghetto SS cyclocross bike now but it could be made into a nice touring rig. PM me.

I totally scored! Big time! I went on a budget but ended up walking out with some great stuff....I got a Huret Jubilee front derailleur for $5, a Campy high flange hub w/skewer for $5, a cycle computer that's new in the box for free, a clean set of Galli brake levers for $10 and a brand new truing stand for $20....I'm sooo stoked! My bro bought his GF a sweet Cannondale for $60 and picked up 3 saddles for another $30 including a Rolls. Good times!

Sorry I missed ya East Hill!

The biggest highlight for me was a green Paramount Tandem...A truely splendid sight! I was drooling...Oh ya! And sorry SB.....I didn't see any smaller touring bikes...

Darn!

I was there, looking over an interesting Moto mixte, and got to ogle a Bowden Spacelander.

I was looking for a 27.2 seatpost, but the couple that apparently made it to the swap meet had sold before I got there.

When were you there? I was there around 10.00 until about 12.30?

Ah! We just missed each other! I got there at 7:15 or so and left around 9:45...That Moto mixte was a sweet lil bike...The Bowden was kool too. Did you see my old full chrome frame sitting up by the mixte? The guy I sold it to doesn't want it anymore which sucks 'cause it is soooo pretty. I might buy it back and ebay it 'cause it's a bit big for me....

I did! It was a beauty, although obviously too big for me.

No, although I am still thinking about that mixte! I did spot something which I may get later, though. I have to contact another member to see if he has that part. If he needs it, I'll pick it up for him.

I was there for about 20 minutes at 10:30 (I was on my way to ride out in Auburn/Black Diamond).

I saw the Bowden bike - very cool. I took a quick spin through the show; most of what was there when I got there was not for me (more Sting Rays and old cruisers than lightweight bikes). I did see a pretty good Bike Friday New World Tourist I would have liked but it was sold.
