Any Snoho county-ers on bike to work teams?

So I got roped into this thing by a friend. I'm now on a "bike to work" team in a contest put together by Snohomish County transit (WA). Starting Monday, 10 person teams log their work commuting miles, and at the end of one month there are prizes, party, that sort of thing. At first I was thinking "Kinda silly, whatever". But now that I'm communicating with fellow team members, and gauntletts are being thrown down by our sister team, I'm seeing some real value here!

My problem is that at 5:30 AM, that nice warm car calls my name. It says "Wouldn't you rather kick back in my plush seat with a nice cup of coffee listening to your favorite tunes than burning your legs in the cold and dark on that stiff, uncomfortable bike?" Lately the car wins 2 or 3 days a week. But now I'm hoping the "can't let my team down" mentality has me flipping the bird at that car every morning! That's my plan anyway, 5 days per week on the bike for the next month.

Anybody else involved in this thing?

Is this different than the Group Health Bike to Work thing? I tried to get a team up at work for that, but did not get enough interest.

Anyone want my miles? I live in Snohomish County, commute down to Bellevue about 3 days/week - 38 miles round trip. Happy to sign up with a team and punch the clock.

Its the same thing as the the Group Heath thing, they're part of it too. I'm with the OP, I'm having a hard time not jumping in the truck when its 4:30am and cold and dark... maybe though...

Woodway, I'd sign you up on my team if it wasn't already full.
