2009 TdC update with pics
Well I made it! 45mi + the ride from my hotel gave me my first 1/2 century in years! Had a chance to visit with CliftonGK1 and a few other Bio-Rad riders as well as Old Slow guy from Pacific Plumbing. Don'tlet the name fool you!
Had a great time even after suffering a bit on the hills There were some pretty good ones!
Here are some pics, (couldnt stop, too hard to get going again!)
CliftonCK1 preride check
Bio-Rad Century riders
all set for the 45mi
much needed break!

Finish!

Erik,
It was great meeting you, too. What a fantastic day to ride! Couldn't have asked for better weather. In fact, I've got just about the best "farmers" tan a person can have...
Hope you had a safe journey back to the flat lands.

I did 100 miles. Not too many riders doing 100, it seemed. I didn't help that I started out the ride late, but it sure felt lonely out there.
