Cyclist on the 520 bridge...
This past Wednesday my father and I were returning to Bellevue fron U-Village via 520 and were both surprised when we saw a guy riding his bike in the eastbound lanes. Crazy enough that he was attempting to ride across 520, even better was the fact that he wasn't even wearing a helmet. I've lived here all 36 years of my life and have NEVER seen somebody riding their bike on 520. Funny!!!!

That's gotta be a pretty hairy ride. If you're gonna get hit by a 55mph car on the 520, a bike helmet will only help approx .01%. Full face motorcycle helmet and body armor might help, though.
Looks like metro gives free rides across sometimes.

I'd be surprised if the 5-0 wasn't waiting for him on the opposite side. There's a few bigarse signs before you get to the bridge, stating that pedestrians and bicycles are not allowed.
