Revolution Cycles in Eugene has been shut down!
Revolution Cycles, in Eugene, Oregon has been shut down for non-payment of rent. The landlord's bank is enforcing a lien on the shop and its contents and has locked it up. I found this out from a newly ex-employee today and popped by the shop to see for myself. The ex-employee told me that beyond money owed to the landlord, the employees hadn't been paid in quite a while.
I know that this shop has been raked over the coals in previous threads, and that isn't my purpose in posting this. I hate
to see a bike shop go under, and I'm sorry Shane's venture didn't work out for him. My concern is that Revolution Cycles is a big E-Bay seller, and still has a ton of items up for auction. If I were a bidder on an item from their store I would be very concerned about the seller's ability to access and ship items after receiving payment. Unless items up for auction were removed from the premises prior to the lock down, they are now under lien.
