What a beautiful day for a ride

I started out this morning with my regular commute wondering if the wind was going to be a big factor. On the ride in the wind was mostly at my back, so it wasn't much of an issue.

Now as I look out I see calm winds and sunshine. To have a day like this on a Monday is completely unfair. I sure hope it holds until time to go home.

Just got back from a quick lunchtime ride on my old Stumpy stashed at the office- it's so nice today! Was actually too warm sometimes, even in shorts and my yellow visibility jacket.

After the wind and the rain pounded my house last night, I slept in an extra 20 minutes thinking I was going to drive today. It was nice to get up and see that it was calm and the streets were mostly dry. I then decided to bike in and was OK with being 20 min late to work. The sun came out 5 minutes into my commute. I think I'll leave an hour early so that I can catch some more sun before it sets.

I had a nice ride today. It was supposed to rain but instead beautiful sun in Woodinville. I had the day off but I had to enjoy the sun while it lasted.

After all the wind last night, I was surprised what a nice commute it was this morning. Tonight I had a nice ride home, then it started blowing branches down after I got home.

My neighbors flower's are starting to come up (some kind of bulbs). The plants think it's spring.

Got a quick 6 miles in today in the afternoon on my bent/ GLORIUS!
First ride I have done in many months now. Now if the weather would
only be like today MLK day more often, I would be out more often!

Riding in this morning from around 6:15 - 6:45 am it was too warm to wear anything other than a T shirt (although I was wearing winter weight gloves, a hat, and legwear). 55 F, according to Weather Underground. I would have roasted if I had worn my high visibilty jacket.

It was 48F on my ride to work this Tuesday Morning. I planned ahead and didn't wear my winter hat, and only wore a t-shirt under my hi-vis jacket. I was still overdressed but the commute was nice as was the Sunrise.
I am curious what my ride home will be like.

The ride home tonite around 6PM from Bellevue to Woodinville on the Samammish River Trail was ripping! Several times I was riding at 25MPH without even really pedalling too hard. I was feeling sorry for the cyclists I saw coming in the other direction.
