oh, it was descriptive. Matching kits usually means a team, but Odd to see matching "2008" team jerseys putting the pedals to it. Who's going to call their buddy to coordinate wearing a couple of year old kits, maybe this is commonplace but it seemed a bit, well, curious to say the least. i got a chuckle out of them being all hard men in likely stinky matching lycra trying to pass at that intersection in the trail that was filled with other traffic already.

It actually irked me as i was just ahead of them barreling into the intersection myself, but doing it safely. there were oncomers, the sight line is bad, there were peds and other cyclists and motorists. Hollering to try to clear a path in crowded conditions going into that alleyoop intersection at the trail and 36th is bad form, bad judgement.

courtesy and common sense will go a long way. of which these two riders exhibited neither.

Anybody who goes for a ride together wearing the exact same thing is a little weird...imho. If we were having softball practice would they show up in their Yankees uniforms?

It's not so odd if they are members of the club/team that the kit represents but it would be odd if they were wearing the kit of a team to which they did not belong, as in your Yankees example.
