Pretty much a perfect ride yesterday: the rain had stopped by the time we got to the island at 0915, and the sun came out starting at 1100. I did see lots of roadies with flats from the sharp chipseal, which reinforced my decision to put Kevlar-belt 25 tires on my road bike. They ran out of the pulled pork at the lunch relatively early, and we missed the lemon bars at the rest stops, but the rest stops were well run with lots of local support. I got in a good 36 miles. Memo to self: the 1545 ferry is intra-island only. I got back down the ferry landing at 1500 and then had to wait until 1700 for the boat back to Anacortes.
