Fall - Winter organized rides in the Seattle area?

Hi all,
I really find that having an organized ride in the near future motivates me to keep getting out on the bike. I have the Stinky Spoke, Chilly Hilly in my sights for post-xmas but what of before the holidays?

I rode the Summer Century (45 mile) and the STP (204 miles) and I am looking for something around the 50 mile mark for September onwards. Im not looking for a challenging ride, just something to get focus.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys...

Check the Cascade ride sites at www.cascade.org. There's the High Pass Challenge in mid-September (114 miles up to Windy Ridge); the Kitsap Fall Classic (not sure that's the right name), and then a bunch of daily rides w/small groups.

In January every year, there is an 8 or 10-ride series called the Winter Training Series that is co-sponsored by Cascade and the Seattle International Randonneurs. That's a great series -- every Saturday, rain or shine, rides start at around 40 miles and work their way up to a full century right before the Chilly Chilly weekend.

Look into the Tour de Whidbey the last weekend in September. They have 30, 40, 50, 80, 90 & 100 mile routes. Riding on Whidbey is really nice and the event is great. We have done it the last two years and are doing it again this year.

And if you expand "Seattle Area" to include Portland, you have the Harvest Century coming up fast on October 8th

Also have the Manastash Metric century this Saturday in Ellensburg - 1st Saturday of October every year.

+1 on the Manastash, great ride!

Its been a few since I've done and I might head over if the weather is looking gloomy on the west side. Here's the link for those interested =>
