Easy Hood River Cruise - besides Mosier/Rowena Crest

Heading to Hood River on Friday and will ride through Mosier to Rowena Crest and back with my better half in the afternoon. I'll have a little time to kill while she is in meetings beforehand. So I'm curious about another ~15-18 miles that I could do while she is busy (and possibly repeat with her on Saturday morning).

Maybe Eastside Road to Pine Grove? Or Country Club Road on the other side of town? Go over the bridge? Avoid 281 and 35?

Thanks in advance!

I rode the 50 mile route from the Jackson's Ride : https://www.jacksonsridethegorge.org/routes.html last summer. Very pretty, low traffic route. You could do the 20 mile loop easily, but it ain't flat out there.

If you have time to kill and enjoy vintage aircraft and autos, check out the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum: https://www.waaamuseum.org/

Thanks, Jeff. That route they show as 23 miles is roughly what I had in mind. But I don't want to overdo it (hilly and over 20 miles). Maybe I'll just shoot for an out-and-back to Pine Grove on Eastside Road and save time for a latte before the Historic Highway route. That, or figure a way to shorten that loop a bit more.
