dodge park to troutdale - road suggestions

I'm planning a route that will take me through Gresham on my return trip. Looking for good roads connecting Dodge Park on the Sandy River to downtown Troutdale - any suggestions for low traffic roads w/ shoulder?

I'm looking at Lusted > Oxbow Dr > 302nd > Kerslake > Stark > old Hwy 30 > Troutdale.

Thanks in advance.

All of those roads are very nice, but some lack a shoulder. That's actually part of the Torture 10,000 route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1116492 ... some of the less hilly sections.

Thanks, Jeff - that route is similar to the one I'm planning, minus the trip up Larch Mtn.

I've ridden up Larch Mountain a couple times. It's fun, but don't expect to do much else that day. It's a 70 mile round trip from my house.
