Kitsap Color Classic?
.
Anyone done it before? Anyone doing it this time?
My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy because I am planning on doing it after I get off work at 7:30 that morning, after working a twelve hour shift at the hospital. She said "but you ride every day"! Yep. Between school five days a week, and work three nights a week, I ride seven days a week 9 months of the year, and actually commute three trips on Mondays and Fridays. I'll have already logged over a hundred miles this week when I get off work Sunday morning, and I'll still be 20 miles from the start of the ride!
I wish I had time to do the full 57 mile loop, because I'm curious about both the Hansville Greenway area and the southeast of the Kitsap Penisula, but I ride pretty slow and will barely be starting on the course about 11AM, so I'm opting to do the 39 mile route. Wish the weather was going to be better, I suspect it'll be more of an endurance ride instead of a nice pedal through fall color!
