Dungeness Gold creek loop

Looking to ride this trail this weekend. I admittedly suck at navigation. Escpecially at mountain bike speeds. Is this trail decently marked so we can find our way in, up, around and about?

The roads to the trailhead are marked but are faded and dirty. I have hiked the dungeness part of the trail but not the gold creek section.

Klondike, did you make the ride? I meant to respond to your post that navigation on the trail is pretty straightforward. Getting to the trailhead is the most difficult part, haha. Here is another place for directions.

This is a really good loop. It's a haul from where I live, east of Seattle, so I only get over there once every 2-3 years.

Never made it. Stuck to Port Gamble and did a whole bunch of connect the dots. Talked to the LBS and it sounds like a couple sections of the trail are really narrow and sketchy right now. Probably wait until spring to head out.

This trail does have exposure. But it's generally on a great downhill section where you are past the exposure before it really registers what you just rode past It's a great loop. I'll probably tackle it in the spring. Keep an eye on the Evergreen ride calendar...a ride or two usually gets posted up every year and you can join a group that knows the route.
