Tillamook Head Trail, is it bike friendly for a family, kids aged 8, 10, 12 and 15?
Hi, would anyone have any advice about the Tillamook Head Trail starting in Seaside? Are bikes allowed? Would it be doable for some younger kids?
Are there any other trails that would be fun and scenic around seaside?
I am trying to decide if it is worth the trouble to bring our bikes?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm pretty darn sure that the Tillamook Head Trail is strictly a hiking trail. And if for some reason they did allow bikes, this would be a moderate level mountain bike trail. I hiked it years ago, and there are some steep/rough sections. So, to answer your question, probably not appropriate.
Besides the Promenade in Seaside, there's not any multi-use paths that I know about in that area. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.
