Stinky Spoke

Anyone else riding it this weekend?

Be on the 705 Kingston ferry Saturday morning. Looks like typical PNW weather so should be no surprises.

Hang on, the Stinky Spoke is in the Redmond area...why would I want to take the Kingston Ferry?

Or are we talking about different Stinky Spokes?

I live in Poulsbo so it's more of a direct shot. Drop down to 522 into Woodinville. According to the website it's at the Redhook Brewery in the Wood Hood.

Hilly route. More so than I thought even after heart attack hill. Would have like more singletrack but it was pretty cool riding through some of the neighborhoods and seeing how much access folks have to the dirt. Fireball shots at the card stops not really my thing on a bike!
Good food from one of the food trucks at the finish. Redhook always one of my favorite beer. Band was OK cover band.

I will definitely go back to the area though I may not do the ride again. Multiple wineries and a distillery may just make me go visit.

Anyone who wants a little dirt workout should checkout the Thursday night Thrilla (which is short for the "Thrilla in Woodinvilla") which utilizes the same roads/trails as the Stinky Spoke, but with more singletrack options. This ride has been going on for years - it's a fun group and newcomers are definitely welcomed.
