Hey Pcad,

Do you think this place is more or less Fredly since you went on vacation?

My share of the postcount has decreased, therefore I believe it has become more Fredly.

Did the usual Saturday morning thing with the idiots (they shall remain idiots until I can complete the friggin' ride with them). Stayed on for about 40 of the 58 miles. It won't be long and they shall feel the wrath of my 1200W sprint. Soft pedaled for a bit and then had a pleasant ride in with a few other crushed souls.

I think word that I said "You guys are kinda slow today, you how I know that?".... "because I'm still here" may have made it up to the front or something....while it was fun to say, it was probably a gross tactical error.

Hey. Just imagine your parents name you 'Adonis'. My parents almost named me 'Milton' after Uncle Milty in Switzerland. Thank God that didn't happen.
With a name like Milton or Adonis, you have to be a badass just to look intimidating enough that people wont laugh at you in your face.

There are usually 40 or so spandex clad dorks on bikes, but no, Chesapeake Beach is nice, but not overly touristy. The roads we're on are mostly rural and not the main traffic routes. The biggest hazard tends to be the occasional aggressive pick up truck / flying can of malt liquor (mostly locals I think).

Times like this (haircut) make me miss my ol' road bike. I could lock it up and not worry. Now if someone steals the seat and seatpost on mtb while it's locked up, that's a $200 loss.

Luckily it's in the middle of a shopping center in a really nice area with lots of upscale restaurants. I don't think it should be too much of an issue.

Maybe I'll grab some sushi.

There was a lot of junk in the road today.. rocks from flood water and tree bits from the wind. The rocks were kinda bolderish (2-4 inch stones)... it was a bit frightening going through and hearing them bounce off of wheels, bikes and bodies.

My only damage seems to have been a tire.

I started not paying attention and almost ran into the curb which (because of the flooding) had I flipped over I would have landed in a foot of water. There was a cool bit with 2-3 inches of standing water that I rode through each lap fast. At 25 mph the water sprays you relatively hard. Feels good.

Also, I follow the mup back from my ride and decided to go CX with my road bike. Just rode off the trail and into the dirt. Some guy yelled at me and told me to get back on the trail.
