Tommy D busted

Tom Danielson tests positive for testosterone | Cyclingnews.com And he says he never took it or any other PED's, yeah ok Tommy. This doesn't look good for Vaughters and his "clean" cycling team.

Cyclists who say they won't dope are like teenagers who make those "virginity pledges". You know it's mostly BS and when the temptation is there and no one's watching, it goes right out the window. Really I guess you could say this about athletes in any sport where PEDs actually help performance. It's probably not big on the pro bowling circuit.

Hahahahahaha. I'm with you, but if you've read any of the Froome debate here, I am in the minority. This quite from the VN article is great:
"Danielson and I turned pro the same year,” said Ben Jacques-Maynes, the veteran Jamis-Hagens Berman rider, just prior to stage 1. “You can see the massive difference in our career trajectories from 2002. Having said that, we now know why there’s a trajectory difference."

What gets me is, Danielson testified in the LA debacle, talked about his drug use and admitted talking ped's with Disco, yet he says he never doped. What a donkey.

Ranked at 153 by the UCI. That means that the 152 riders above him must be.....

He's just mad it's not about Lance Armstrong.

Tommy D is a loser, and this should finish his career. Didn't follow the whole USADA/Tygart/LA thing...was Danielson one of the guys Tygart gave a pass to, to get his main man? Also, LOL from Ben Jacques-Maynes, basically put him on blast. You have to be super impressed with guys who go the clean route, as it really limits your opportunities. BJM is a great talent, I'm sure he could have gotten more out of his career if he did choose the other path. Sadly, that's what it takes, but of course the Sky Donkey is cleans!

Haha yup, that was awesome from Jacques-Maynes. If you want to make it to race in Europe with the big boys, there's pretty much only 1 way to get there.

Then there is also this bit of info, I highly doubt Vaughters will make good on his promise, I might ask him on twitter:
In February, Vaughters told Cyclingnews, "It’s true we ask for that [scrutiny] and still in ten years we’ve not had a rider dope on our team. Ever. We’ve lived up to that. That was the initial promise. If that ever is broken then Doug and I are out.”

Nope, he said he won't. He is a giant d'bag and not just because he won't step down.
Per JV: Jonathan Vaughters ‏@Vaughters 7h7 hours ago Selfishly, Id like to disappear, but that hurts quite a few good people. Therefore,Slipstream's owners(me too) have decided to push forward.
