15-year old Gentry Jefferson caught his glasses. Is that Joe Jefferson's kid?
The woman who caught the helmet could be described as petite. She won the scrum.

I don't know who caught the gloves.

Man, if I'd caught that helmet, I'd never sell it. That thing would go into a display case and sit on my shelf.

At least until my wife finds out how much it could fetch on Ebay and makes me sell it to fund a trip somewhere.

Is there a rule that the WC has to be dressed like an ice cream man?. How about black shorts, fer eyeballs sake.

Yes, there is. Team shorts, or white shorts.

I guess the UCI thinks that black shorts would be performance enhancing, or something.

It is interesting that the riders are allowed to be plastered head to toe with sponsor logos and colors, but for certain things the UCI has such arbitrary and arcane rules. Maybe black shorts really are performance enhancing

There are extremely detailed guidelines for exactly how the jersey is to be integrated with trade team and sponsors, beginning on pg. 49. Not a lot of wiggle room for Tinkoff to play around there.
Who the hell knew there was an "Artistic Cycling" world champion, and WTF is "Cycle ball"?

I understand that the UCI has many types of events under its umbrella, but it blows me away to think that someone can play that sport and win a rainbow jersey. Does Bike Polo have a world champion too? That'd be the ultimate mark of hipster street cred.
