Tour itinerary essentials
Obviously, we all enjoy an annual trip to the Alps and Pyrenees, with a bunch finish in Paris..........
or do we?
What, in your opinion, makes for a perfect Tour route? Must there be a trip up the Tourmalet? A finish in Bordeaux? A mountain TT? A giant stage on the Spanish border? Alpe d'Huez?
I like the Pyrenees, Puy de Dome and pave, in any order- balance and tradition. Could care less about the promenade finish, the Alpe, the TTT.
What are you looking forward to/ disappointed not to be seeing this year?
