Upcoming world track championships

As an utter novice to track racing, which events (and when) should I try to watch? Which are the most accessible/compelling? tia

I'm novice myself but here are my opinions from watching a couple.

I like the elimination race best.
Points races and even the long scratch race where riders can go laps down are too complicated for me to watch without an expert announcer.

The 1k time trial is an amazing athletic demonstration.
1 fixed gear bikes from a standing start so they're basically doing heavy leg presses at the start and spinning like crazy at the finish.
