i didn't know the bike contributed to as much as 1/3 of the air drag; i thought it was closer to 1/4. Now I have to get that P3, or at least a Soloist.:)

I knew they had dimpled helmets, although they don't seem to use them anymore, nut I didn't know they had dimpled jerseys.

I thought the wheels accounted for most of the bicycle drag. Could anyone confirm? I don't know really.

I just wanted to know what in specific in "The Lance Cronicles" caused this negative reaction. I didn't see the entire series, so I may have missed something.

Anyone???

i didn't know how much energy was spent overcoming the wind - the show said it was roughly 80%

I don't want to come off like Phil Donahue or anything, but I find the way he's shed women along the way, until now he's hooked up with somebody befitting his celebrity status, to be suspect.

Not that plenty of regular guys have been through a few wives and gf's.

I think there are times when a professional competitor needs to be aggressive, but that does not mean that carries over into other parts of his life. They do need to get along with a lot of team and non team people to accomplish their goals.

I can ditto that. I work for Health Net. Members of the pro team have stopped by and done 'fun rides' at the main offices around the country during the early season.

I got to ride and speak with Chris Wherry, current USPRO champion just before the start of this season. Also an extremely nice, unassuming guy.
