Will the Tour be on TV next year?

I'm thinking we won't get full coverage.

I don't think so either. I bet they just focus on 3 stages- the first, last, and one mountain. Then they'll do a wrap up day with Al and Bob to cap off completely mediocre, inadequate coverage.

I have no faith in OLN. I base this off their cycling schedule they've put up following the Tour this year. No race coverage, only wrap ups and highlights.

Lance should start a cycling channel on TV.

I think it will get full coverage next year, or at least an hour or so show on each stage each day. A lot of time to fill on cable networks these days, and I think that the TdF has found it's niche. Kind of like Spike TV bidding on NHL hockey, etc.

I think the real question will be the coverage 5 years or so from now if there are no serious American contenders.

Whatt!!! Guys/Girlz have faith!!!! If some reason OLN pulls the plug, which I don't believe they will, wouldn't Discovery fill that void??? HUMM! YES! Especially since Lance
has a contrract until 2008 Can't you just see Lance doing voice overs for the TOUR! (yes!)
