Jens Voigt finished the stage 7 TT in last place. Think that was an accident, I don't. Voigt has the strength to finish ahead of the sprinters if he times his breakaway correctly.

ok...a cat 3 & a couple of cat 4's today, the last 70 odd km's pretty much downhill....perfect for the sprinters (again) but I'll go out on a limb & suggest the early break will succeed.... whose gunna be in it?....Ok, Voeckler, Voigt, Paolini & some bloke from Agritubel that no-one has every heard of!

Damn cable died on my yesterday shortly after the TT finished up and still hasn't come back. Comcast is about to get a seriously ugly phone call!

What's up with Boonen? Mistiming sprints, giving up places when realizing he won't win... what is UP?

Maybe he just peaked too early in the year whereas the Pimpernel seems to have peaked at just the right time.

Riding with hands on the middle bars in the middle of the peloton
Bob Roll said when he rode in the middle of a large peloton he preferred to put his hands in the middle of the bars well away from the brakes so everyone would be freaked out enough to give him more room. It’s hard to tell if he was joking or serious and if there was real method to his madness. Anyone know if he really did that, and if so did the other riders back away?
