That buckle was the best 15 pounds I've ever spent.

I believe he may be somewhere in LA now??
Yeah, he lives off Sunset, near HOB. Speaking of which, I saw The Fabulous Thunderbirds there a few years back. Not a bad show. Then Bruce Willis, Dan Akroyd, and Jim Belushi got on stage and started jammin'. Not going to see that again too soon. I think I told you before in another thread that you can probably track Lemme down and buy him a beer. Go to Ozzy's house and ask Sharon for his phone number. And smack those Ozbourne kids if ya see 'em.

I've only scratched the surface of the music scene here -- the only place I've seen any live music is at 'Canter's Diner'. The diner side is open 24 hours a day and the bar/ stage area is a classic dive full of locals and other assorted fruitcakes.

I'm not in "The Industry" , nor am I a teenage girl (supposedly Lemme loves them), so I'm not sure how good my odds of sharing a pint or 3 w/ him really are! I haven't had cable in about 3 or 4 years -- I think seeing clips of the Ozbourne kids had something to do w/ me cancelling my subscription.

All a bunch of media hype a week before the tour. Seems like great timing to get people thinking about the Tour one way or the other. Hopefully the tour lives up to its expectation so we can move on to our next hate victim.

I loved that! The puppets were 1:10 scale and the amps were about 1:10,000 scale.

Any time a thread digresses into a Motorhead discussion, then it's a good one.

I don't know if Lemmy would appreciate having a modified Barbie being used as his marionette double, but it was very well done, right down to the mosh pit.

I think that was a TVT, then he went to Calfee in 91 or the year after.

I think you are right, just trying to show the "brand" was out there before the Trek deal.
    Here's another shot of a TVT/Lemond bike....

Just chiming in with info. I remember a magazine did a road test on that Lemond-Tour replica. They said the fork flexed 3" back and forth during hard braking downhill.

BTW, I like pita bread with my couscous.
