Why are we only on Stage 14, but have 23 codes???

I wonder if they have any logic to basically ensure you don't win if you use a word before the day it is given?

I tried playing today's code (domestique), and it came and told me I was all out of chances to play. Wtf?

basso and ullrich didn't work today, I wonder if they are no longer valid codes and they have added some new ones.
