Race Radio
If you go to the Tour, can you pick up official race radio if you have the right frequency and type of radio. Or do they use coded/encrypted channels? I would imagine that would be the case for the team radios.

you can pick up official race radio, thats what a lot of fans listen to while sitting on the side of the road. Also, the teams signals can be picked up with a scanner, one of the knocks on the team radios is that having the DS from other teams hearing all the other DS takes away from the spontinaeity (sic).
Sometime you will see the team car come up to the break etc, and talk face to face, this is so the other teams cannot listen in

That's cool about the race radio. It might be nice to hear the radio of a team favorite. But language might be a problem too.
