One for Campagnolo?

While watching Stage 17 and the closeups of Floyd & his bike, it occurred to me that if Floyd does as expected in the final TT, a Campagnolo-equipped rider will win the firm's first Tour of the 21st century. As I recall, it was tutto Campagnolo until Lance came along, but I'm too busy to look it up.

Seems you are correct. Slow work day here so I did do some poking around. I know Lance has been on Trek's for all of his tour wins and from what searching of images I've seen, they're all Shimano equipped.

Mavic components graced Greg Lemond's bike in the 1989 tour.
