An open letter to WADA
Please, for the love of pete, take your time and get this right.
I'm in no hurry to discover my hero is innocent or guilty. (I'm 31, and Floyd became a hero to me) I'd rather wait 1 month to have undeniable, black/white, irrefutable proof EITHER WAY.
If WADA comes out tomorrow and states plainly that the B sample, taken at exactly the same time and tested the exact same way as the A sample, comes back identical to the A sample. Floyd will be fired and disowned by people that have deified him.
I believe this calls for a different angle, different tests, closer scrutiny, analysis of prior and subsequent tests, and consideration of all the facts. Floyd drank beer and whiskey the night before. He drank something like 30 bottles of water. What did he have for breakfast. His wife was in town...maybe his gonads reacted accordingly after a 2.5 week dry spell. Did any or all of these factors have an effect on his T/E ratio? Sometimes a test is flawed if all the external conditions are not taken into consideration.
So much weight is being placed on the B sample. If the tests are the same, the result will be the same, but I'll still question the reality of the situation. I'll admit that, yes, there was, in fact, an 'unusual ratio' of T/E...That'll be obvious. But I'll still question whether the test was accurate.
WADA has the unenviable job of being both lab technicians, psychologists, sports physiologists, diplomats, and detectives. The job is highly demanding, but it's YOUR job. Do it right.
If, after all the avenues are explored, Floyd is found guilty, I will forget about him and never teach my sons about his amazing accomplishment.
If, as I hope, Floyd is proven innocent, he will remain on the pedestal I've placed him. An icon and a representation of the rewards of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and motivation. Lance is up there, too.

unless that letter takes the form of a burning bush right in front of dick pound it will fall upon deaf ears at wada.
i however share your feelings and would go further so say that landis (or any other athlete) should be given the chance to mount a defense against any charges.

Not only get it right but shoot the SOB that keeps leaking things before they are finial.
Euro I may not know much (or anything) about doping tests but I have tested guided missels, radars, and a buch of other stuff and when I read about these doping tests they are not up to the realiabiliaty I would use in any testing I've even done.

I'd like to see in investigation of WADA.
Maybe Lance Armstrong, Tyler Hamilton, Jan Ulrich, Ivan Basso et. al. would be willing to direct the investigation.
