Props to the guy who finds the link . . .

. . . to a Stateside vendor who sells these:

CSC joins wristband-wagon

Team CSC has joined the wristband bandwagon this year, but it sports an interesting slogan that isn't raising money for a charity or some do-good organization.

Instead, the letters across the black plastic wristband underscore the team's philosophy in this year's Tour: "Harden the F[] Up."

"Stuart (O'Grady) brought them for the team in London and asked everyone to wear them," said Team CSC rider Frank Schleck. "If it's tough, we look at the wristband and we do what it says. When it gets hard, you harden up. So far it's worked pretty good."

It sounds like some company just made those as a gag and when Stuart O. found them he bought them for the team. It's certinaly not a CSC product and because of the profanity I'm sure CSC won't sell them themselves.

But I bet there will be tons of copy-cats making them now and selling them for $5 or more to CSC fans... Sheesh!

Our old motto on my A-league softball team was "Don't Wet Yourself!" when you are batting or when you are on the field! hehe!

I don't think those are designed to be worn on the wrist.

We need to get a pool together for a bunch of those bands!

Perhaps it can become the unofficial Bike Forums band!

I thinking Kloden should've passed one to Vino when he was asked to drop back and help.

"Harden the f%^k up" is a quote from either aussie celebrity criminal Mark "Chopper" Read (there's a film about him starring Eric Bana), or from a comedian called Ronnie Johns who impersonates Chopper on his tv sketch show. I'm not sure if it's a Chopper phrase that Johns borrowed, or if Johns invented it.

if you don't like profanity (or if you're at work) be careful, there's sh1tloads of strong language in that video!

Just in case anyone is interested, there is a group buy going on for these in the other thread.
