Fast Freddy R. placing 7/19/07

I just noticed in the Velonews report on the Tour today, Freddy Rodriguez was involved in a pile up at the last turn about 800 meters from the finish. All the other riders involved got the same time as the lead group, Fred lost 4 minutes. What gives? I thought accidents in the final k were forgiven and the group time was given?

Obvious mistake. The results will be corrected, that is, if Lotto or Freddie really gives a crap to bug the UCI refs about it. What's the difference in finishing 3 hrs down on GC, vs 3 hrs and 4 minutes

Thanks for the move MODs. Sorry!

Thanks YMCA, I thought it might be a mistake, but wasn't certain.

Freddy really couldn't give a crap however about the time.

He has to be sorely dissapointed however not having the chance to contest the sprint.

With not having lead out duties for Mckewen, and several big sprinters absent, Freddy had to really be excited about perhaps his best stage win chance.

The official site lists his time with the peloton.
