Road rash and a very bad day

He may withdraw.

But he did finish the day.

Effin' wow. I can't believe he finished the stage. I would have curled up into a ball of failure and pain and sat there mewling like a three-week old orphaned kitten.

OUCH!!!
Yeah I would have cried mommy for sure...

Good to see he kept going. my hope is he will get patched up enough to keep going. Strange as it sounds this years race seems to be great. Yeah we had a dose of scandles but with that mostly out of the way we are in a tight race, and everyone is trying so hard. Just finishing seems to be a win in itself.

It's really amazing he kept going and then didn't lose any more time than he did.

I would have taken the ambulance home and then taken three weeks off of work.

I watched the stage last night, having DVR'd the morning broadcast.

I sure hope that was sport drink all over the wall he hit.

Man...

He had one heck of a tough Tour this year. He's certainly proven his toughness to me.

He's worth every lire that Lampre pay him. I've always liked Italian bike racers and Cunego was one of them. I was disappointed when it appeared in the Pyrenees that he didn't have it this year, but I'm glad he hung in there as long as he did.
