In fairness, Zabel gets this sprint. In reality, Freire takes it.

He's been on the edge, trying so hard. I'd give it to him out of generosity, but I'm an old softy. Really would like to see him end this tour with a bang. Are we going to see one more tour for him?

Cancellara off the front with 1KM to go.

He's going to make this really difficult for the sprinters.

They had me wondering. Hahaha

You know what, I really want Robbie to win the sprint. Maybe Lotto will actually ride for him tomorrow.

LOL
It almost seems like there should be two CAT 5 climbs there, with how challenging and exciting this Tour has been.

I will miss reading these threads!

I predict a desperate break away attempt by Quick Step... ending in failure.

Half right!

That was so cool when they had the motorcycle alongside the finishing sprint!

It wasn't a motorcycle, it was a camera that is mounted on a monorail that sits in between the barriers.

She might have been the best looking podium girl I've ever seen. I need to win me a green jersey at the Tour.

That was Jens Voigt (one of the unsung heroes of CSC this year, IMO), who had the oddest mechanical I've seen in this TdF: seat post sticking up, but no seat!

Actually it WAS a motorcycle. In the replay of the sprint you can see from the overhead shot that there is a motorcycle with TV camera man between the barriers, traveling parallel to the sprinters.

I find it strange that the final yellow jersey doesn't give a victory salute. I've only ever seen Roche do this in '87. I think it's very fitting to acknowledge that yu the overall winner.
