    Milano-Sanremo

    298 km!

If all is together at 1km to go, Pettachi takes it.

Bennati is also a contender. Cavendish simply doesn't have the endurance yet to win after this type of distance.

If a small group manages to get away in the last 20K, Pozzato wins.

    Wish I could watch it.

Yeah, Cavendish has been training for the distance with Erik Zabel (who knows from Milan San Remo). Despite that even Cavendish is downplaying his chances. That's a killer of a long ride.

I already pay too much for cable and can't justify $45 for streaming video that may or may not pixelate, freeze up or be generally unwatchable.

I'm watching this one right now in Spanish and using the text feed off cyclingnews.com. It's working smooth as butta, but not crystal clear.

    Enjoy.

    You missed a great sprint.

Not to be a shill, but it is $30 for Milan Sanremo, the Giro and Lombardy. I would also recommend ponying-up for a good internet connection.

I actually pay for a very good broadband internet connection. Cyclingtv has been notorious for having crappy feeds though.

British Eurosport for free- providing you have satellite and have it in your package.

It did start late. I will try to get a partial refund. But when it did come, the feed was great.

30 of the 60 that went over the last hill--(Pozazio?) had a chance- but the winner did excell.

Sounds like what the crew at Cyclingfans.com does for its viewers. Usually with excellent results.

I wanted to watch but have stuff planned this afternoon and used my morning to go for a ride in this awesome Spring weather. Guess I'll have to wait for Paul and Phil to recap it for me.

Give us Phil back- I do miss him- especially as we have to put up with Sean. And may be biased- but well worth watching.

    Laggard-

Think it is safe not to spoil now but I was a like mind to you. These sprinters do not have the Endurance to keep going for the long one day races- and if they are there at the end- I think it is down to a lot of Team effort that has got them there.

Not saying it was an easy or slow race- but for 60 to have been at the top of the last hill does make me think that it was an easier pace than normal. I kept waiting for someone to take up the challenge 10Km from home but no-one did.

And I still cannot believe that some one noted as a sprinter and not much else could have been in at the finish- But he was not the only sprinter there.

It just shows that Mark has improved in the last few months- so there is still hope for some of us to show well in the early races of the season. Not me though as I am an armchair racer. I only compete to make up the numbers and give some-one else a target to lap.
