Absolute worst commercials on Versus

Here in the US (at least in the west coast), we are forced to endure so many
freaking dreadful commercials.
1) Geico
2) Freecreditreport.com
3) Lids caps

I was thinking about that last night. To me the biggest waste of a commercial is the Trek commercial where they have Levi or Alberto say something like "My bike, Alberto's bike, Lances bike....Wow". Just plain stupid. Trek make a nice bike. At least show us the bike. It's their advertising dollars but to me it was not spent wisely.

I am grateful for the commercials- they pay for us to watch the Tour! However.... I HATE THE COMMERCIAL BREAKS!!!! The majority of them are catching the announcers mid-sentence, or cutting off an interview, or cutting to break just after the sprint finish so you can't watch the rest of the field roll through. All it means is that I should just go to France next year and watch it live.

Actually, it's quite a tease. You go to the site to figure out how you might win the bikes, and you put yourself on their mailing list.

I'm glad the companies are advertising, but those Free Credit Report ads are just plain tacky. I'm thankful GEICO had multiple commercials, because it would be easy to get annoyed watching the same 3-4 over and over. Thankfully, we're not seeing "Born From Jets" ad nauseum this year.

No commercials on the online feed, unless you consider P&P discussions about pretty French country side buildings, sites, and fan "art" commercials?

Thanks to Versus' "inspirational" multi-sport "we have a game" commercial my 7-year old now knows the phrase "kick your ass."

Lids caps???

The worst for me are the Cadillac commercials. They are trying to sell a stodgy old car like it is supposed to be sexy, but it comes off like they are selling a high-priced hooker.

But I have learned from years past that the best way to watch is with a DVR and just fast-forward past the stupid things..

The Gracie Jiu Jitsu is kind of funny/cheesy. That one guy that says "You know there's that guy at work that you want to beat up," or something to that extent.

What happened to that Bob Roll commercial they used a couple of years ago, the one with him pedaling naked on the bike. I loved it!

Cadillac, Bosley hair replacement, and the darn Enzyte "male enhancement". Can't stand them, but by the end of the tour I may be driving my new CTS with one hand while my long and thick hair is flowing in the wind, and with the other hand holding the gigantic product of my Enzyte order!!!!!!

I really like these commercials; I mean, wotthehell, my credit sucks, I don't even want to know my "score", so why not enjoy 'em? Versus is gonna show advertisements, which lets me use the bathroom, rather than an empty water bottle, so who am I to complain?

Besides, I like green tights!

The male enhancement products are ridiculous...not to mention fraudulent. I'm surprised there hasn't been a class action suit...but I suppose everyone is too embarrassed to go public.

That said....my Tivo allows me to watch NO commercials. I watch live for a while in the morning then go get some stuff done and come back a couple of hours later and finish the race...sans all commercials.
