Is Cervelo still made in Toronto?

CBC radio stated in an interveiw with Gérard Vroomen from Monaco this morning that Cervelo will be the only Canadian team in the Tour's history. I wonder about this because someone told me that Cervelo no longer manufactures or assembles their bikes in Toronto. If they build the bikes somewhere else then how can they be considered Canadian?

"A Canadian team" is a bit of a stretch. They are registered in Switzerland and their bikes are made off-shore. Their HQ is in Toronto, etc. but I don't think the world sees Cervelo Test Team as a "Canadian" team.

So technically that would make the team Swiss, not Canadian, am I right?.

You'd be correct.

About the only thing in Canada, as fas as Cervelo is concerned is an office. They've always outsourced their manufacturing, as far as I know.
