Epic Fails and Falls at the Tour De France and Other Bike Races

Though I'd seen many of them, there were some videos here I had not seen. The mountain bike fall is particularly brutal.

No. He gained no advantage by doing so.

One recent epic failure was the TT of Rasmussen a couple years ago. He went from a podium spot to 8th after several crashes and as many bike changes. I'm not sure it can get worse than that ride other than to crash out and not finish.
