Members,
I have edited out an insult, and the responses that seem to be directly related to it before it got more out of hand.
Let's all show our ability to debate an issue without insults.
Remember, the SNL skit where the people responded with terms like "Jane you ignorant ****..." is not the example we should follow here.
Thanks!

PS - I did leave some earlier borderline comments, but let's keep it civil from here on out.

I think a crying Indian on horseback should solve the problem.
FWIW, I used to never, ever litter. And then I saw the Tour de France. Now I regularly dump chlorofluorohexohydrobezene into rivers. I learned it from watching you, Lance! I learned it from watching you.

Wait, my mention of parenting was NOT an insult!!!!
I said that parents should be the real role model to keep people in line!
I responded to his snippy comment with one of my own. But I think the parenting comment was dead on, because it is indeed parents who need to reign in the behavior of their children, not some pro cyclist.

Let me see if in context it makes sense without the preceding deletion.
If not, please feel free to post a message independently on the responsibility of adults.
Thanks!
