Via radio on their ear? When the guy in the car says something, do all of people on the same team hear it? Like secrect service stuff? I remember the last year the commentator says that Lance heard that Ulruch fell on the last time trial so he was very careful in the corner. Does the rule "no headphone" apply?

Are they using radios this year? I haven't seen any, and I've seen a lot of team cars running up to the breaks for discussions.

Well either that or Lance was listening to his iPod during his pre-race interview yesterday

Yes, they're using radios. Can't understand why anyone wouldn't.

I know they have radio, but what kind of technology, does everyone hear everything from one person, if anyone knows the name of their radio, it'd be great.

The teams are allusing radios and all riders on one team are on the same frequentcy. Riders will talk directly with the director sportif in the car if they don't want anyone else to hear the conversation with a scanner.

Would it be more beneficial to leave the radio and save that weight?

Strategy beats the insignificant weight of a small FRS or GMRS radio.
