No Disc Wheel for Ullrich

Why isn't T-Mobile and Ullrich riding a disc in the back? Is that four spoke up front and back more aerodynamic? I find that hard to believe. I remember earlier in the season he had a disc at soem TT, when he came back to racing in tour of germany I noticed he didn't have the disc back. Anyone heard anything? I thought he would be all over anything to give him an edge over, or at least equal, armstrong. Especially considering his considerable TT skills.

wind - the entire Tmobile Team used the xenex(sp?) wheels...

the prologue was not good weather too... so no disc wheels for almost everyone from Tmobile.

Is that why they didn't finish first? The posties had discs.

Heh, disc wheels arnt going to make that big a difference when you have the best ridders in the world doing a TTT. The tmobile directors/mechanics know this.

Credit Agricole, Euskaltel-Euskadi had discs, most everyone used discs - even those who finished well behind Tmobile, in the TTT its all about your team.

Yep, just what I thought. The T-Mobile guys might look cute in pink, but those guys in blue. My oh my! Gives good new meaning to "going postal"!
