Ho hum. Another sprint stage, another sprint win for the Columbia machine.

So I'll tag along instead of starting a new one, doesn't seem to many interested in La Vuelta anyways.

Stage 20 Toledo TT. Was that giant sword prize a real sword? The winner (didn't want to spoil) almost speared the girl's foot, then almost chopped of the hand of the behind-the-scenes-guy that wanted to help him take the sword off his hands, then almost beheaded same girl. Sure was shiny. Would like to strap that thing to my back whilst riding.

That has to be the coolest trophy ever. He should get a big ass tatoo of it. Wonder how he's gonna get on a plane with that thing?

They failed him on the shield, er, the lack of one. That would have led to an an awesome victory pose. I would love to see him ride the last stage with that sword on his back. Makes out of saddle work a little tricky. Needs a sheath.

Cavendish needs one of those - just imagine the whole new array of finish line victory poses he could come up with.

I won a Specialized helmet and sunglasses from VeloNews for guessing time and winner on the Vuelta state that Tyler Farrar won. I am very pleased (and hoping someone here cares), it was very much beginners luck!

Very cool. I bet Tyler's a teeny bit more excited though.
