Newbie - Just TWO more question -PROMISE!

Thanks for all the help in getting this “senior citizen” up to speed on this wonderful event. I have just two more questions. I promise.

As I observe the peloton, the blue train always appears well organized – riding very close. As I look further back, it almost appears that the remainder of the group is a random mixture of teams. Is this simply because Postal is protecting Lance or just superior tactics? (An example is the current wearer of the white jersey – who appears to wonder all over on his own. By the way, I really hope this kid can hang on. That face is great, and he’s shown a lot of guts)

Lastly, is stage 20, the ride into Paris, a competitive stage, or mostly ceremonial?

What stages are you referring to? (about the USPS train) Mountains or flat stages?

Stage 20 is usually more ceremonial. No attacks until they reach the Champs. But once they get into the circuit, you may see riders try to form a break or two.
