Cofidis and Illes Balears. I've heard them pronounced every which way by diff. commentators. I've heard KAW-fid-is, co-FY-dis, kuh-FEE-dis, etc. and I always said Balears like Buh-lehrs but I heard Sherwen say it BALLY-ar. Confusing. Guess it just depends? I'm making an effort to pronounce everything properly, like Bob Roll with Heras

It's more fun butchering the names, like Phil Ligget does. Phil is smart as a whip, but he has a bit of trouble with the nuances of the many languages involved in the Tour. And who can blame him. Only Roberto Heras has objected so far.

It's funny how Paul Sherwen keeps calling José Azevedo, "yo-ZEY" like in Jan or Johan.

Liggett say's Voeckler like "Voy-kler"..I wonder if that's correct or if he's just putting an English twist to it.

I've heard Paul actually call Jose as "joe-zay" and yesterday Frankie called him "Aceviedo."
I like how Bob Roll seems to pronounce all the French words with relative finesse except the name of the bike race itself!

You'd at least think they'd get the name of the event right -- it's not Tour dee Fraaaance, but Tour duh Frahnce (like having champagne!).
