aso taking over the dauphine-libere too?

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/aso-...auphine-libere

not sure this is a good thing. too much control in the hands of too few frequently
spells disaster. on one hand, aso could strengthen the dauphine, expand it by a day or two
and make it the tdf tuneup. otoh, they could kill it outright if it doesn't
meet their financial/advertising expectations after a few years. leaning towards the former
with the powers that be likely using it to audition the teams on the bubble/wild cards for the tdf.
would be nice to see them visit some of the more difficult mountain-top finishes-such as
puy de dome-that are logistical nightmares for the tdf.
