out of the contenders, methinks this tt suits contador & evans the best.
thinking there will be a slight headwind here that will hurt the slighter contenders.
menchov is also a strong possibility for solidifying a podium position and/or
garnering the stage win here.

agree with the idea of menchov getting on the podium because of his ride here. sammy's gonna have to do well to prevent that, i think

I'm seeing Contador get his 1st stage win of this Tour. He'll start last and get all of the time checks. Fabian will set the time to beat and finish second. Menchov out riding Sanchez to get third in the overall.

If Tony Martin is healthy and has been taking it easy the past few days, he could be the spoiler. Grabsch has been cooling his heels near the back too. Wiggins - possibly the same. Sky's pretty desperate for something, and it's been clear Wiggo's had no chance on GC since the Alps.

U have no idea how AC time trials... he was the the ITT champion of spain last or 2 years ago, and no... he didn't win to old guys and mules.

AC can TT big time. AS does his stuff but at the contador's level.

Tomorrow anything can happens, even if AC sucks big time and Menchov doesn't, then Menchov could win this thing, thing i would love to see. Sanchez? he is pure heart so maybe he sticks to his position.

I hope Schleck manages to not get overtaken by Contador, that would be humiliating.

Contador down on Schleck at 18km! 2 seconds away from virtual yellow.

Well, this is going to come right down to the wire. AC has definitely tailed off from last year. Hearing that he's so close Schleck will really turn himself inside out.

The way it's going, it looks like Menchov will overtake Sanchez for 3rd.

Schleck is really giving it his all so far in this time trial. He has really improved from last year. This is going to be a real nail biter.

There's absolutely no margin of error for Contador now, one slip up, taking a bad line in one corner could decide the Tour de France; incredible pressure.

These guys must be going into a headwind compared to the earlier starters. The times are much slower later in the day. I hope AS didn't go out too fast.

What's up with Contador's riding position. It looks like he keeps scooting back on the saddle after every 3 or 4 pedal strokes? Doesn't look comfortable at all.

Yeah, it seems the wind is a factor for sure, at least for the stage victory etc.

I was noticing that as well. I really hate it that he is having issues.
