The comment I liked best, "Ah! This is the famous 40k lead out Indurain gave Bruyneel...."

    Nice!
The rider in my avatar is David Etxebarria, not me.

That picture looks like it was photoshopped. I know it probably wasn't, but it looks so artificial.

It's bad fill flash on film. Looks fake.
When I was young I prayed to God for a new bike. Then I figured out God didn't work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness.

Yes its fill flash but I would be reticent to say it was bad. In full sunlight with film you had to punch out the fill flash or you would have BAD shadows. Given the film, the hard light AND the fact that they would have been doing everything manually its pretty damn good.

EDIT: It was hard light in the first shot and poor light in the second where flash was also needed to freeze the action.

I thought only the Germans were allowed to dress like geeks on bike. Sadly, even bike racers were influenced by the disco era.

Why is it sad? I thought people should wear whatever the heck they like.

Nope, you thought wrong, but I forgive you. Let's be friends.
"I just googled triple crank set and i see what your saying. this bike has 9 of those "cranksets".
"They are showing [the TDF of Versus] at 5 different times in the day. It doesn't say which one is the live one."
