You have co-workers that are aware of the Tour de France?

I tried bringing the Tour de France at work and one of my fellow employees asked "What's France?"

Even worse if you're a soccer fan... after nearly 2 whole months of stuff to watch on TV... now there's nothing; at least Wipeout is new.

At least us soccer fans have Fox Soccer Channel where we can get a fix any time.

Yeah, I'm having withdrawal's too. Can't wait for more cycling later in the year. On a side note, if you can't get enough, go buy or find a place to download past years tours. Always fun to watch!

I found the cure: I just got another Selle Italia SLR for my second road bike. Now I can ride more, (and pain free)!

Why would it be a joke? All pro-tour bike races.

Heh, sounds like an opportunity to enlighten them and get them into cycling. Be sure to guide them to the slippery slope of purchasing. Yeah, several guys ride and one does Ironman so we all DVR the tour and yap about it in the am. Cheers

Used to be that here too. Didn't realize the change wasn't global.

OLN = Outdoor Life Network if I remember correctly.

I miss it, watching it while working first thing in the morning. My dad has been a huge fan ever since it started playing on TV live and as far as I know at age 68 he has never sat on a bike.

oh ok....phew!! lol...
it sort of reminded me of my ex brother in law who knew nothing about sports...or much of anything else really. Every conversation was ' who's he?' or 'what's that?' So talking about the tour he only knew about Lance....'isn't he the one who was sick?' And marc McGwire (the year he broke the home run record), "Isn't he the hitter?" You had to explain EVERYTHING to him and it usually went over his head since he wasn't interested...
