Now that the Vuelta is decided we have the WC to look forward to. Any one betting against Gilbert?

I wouldn't have bet on him before seeing his form at the Vuelta, but now he's looks like a very serious contender.

He was defiantly on my short list when the route was announced, but he wasnt my top choice untill the vuelta. The person that moved onto my list of riders that I think can win that wasnt a month ago is Roche. It would be great to see father and son winners.

Geelong is about 3 hours from where we live, so Rowan and I decided to come down to the Geelong area tonight and stay overnight quite near Geelong. We are planning to watch the Elite Men's Time Trial tomorrow.

We're watching the coverage of the races today on the TV in our cabin.
