I'm loving this Daupiné. Like a distilled TdF with all the boring bits taken out. No idiot 'fans' on the climbs seeking their 15 seconds of fame.

Last 4km. (french)

The riders had to contend with cows.

1,2,3 are so close than it wouldnt be weird that tomorrow vino would play to be superman. I never expected wiggins to stay in there with vino in the climbs and actually leave evans behind.

I was pretty shocked to see Wiggins, who has never been known as a climber, able to climb so well. With the way he is climbing I think he might be able to hold on for the win tomorrow. That would be pretty huge for British cycling, which has a lot of sprinters and TT guys, but very few real GC men.

Wasn't he 4th behind LA in the 2009 TdF and I seem to remember him doing a pretty good climb on the Mont Venteaux that year. Think he was in the first 6 to the top.

He sets his own pace and holds in.

I agree it'll be great for British cycling if he can win the Dauphiné.

Last thing we want is superman Vino. The guy has never apologised.

He served his time but never admitted his crime.
